Triple Hydrating 1hr Express Tan Mousse – How To

Step 1: Exfoliate and moisturise dry areas prior to application.
Step 2: Apply to clean, dry skin. Shake the 1 Hour Express Tan Mousse well and apply evenly using our Goldee Bee Tanning Mitt. Work the product into the skin using long, sweeping circular motions and blend well.
Step 3: Use minimal product on elbows, knees, ankles and knuckles as the product can stick to these areas. Apply leftover product from your mitt to hands and feet for a natural finish.
Step 4: Allow to develop for a minimum of 1 hour and leave longer for darker results (see front for details). The longer you leave the tan on, the darker the final colour will be.
Step 5: Rinse in the shower quickly with lukewarm water and then pat yourself dry with a towel. Do not rub as the tan will continue to develop.
Step 6: Moisturise daily to prolong your glow.

Triple Hydrating Gradual Tan – How To 

Step 1: Prep the skin by exfoliating in the shower to remove dry spots 
Step 2: Apply Triple Hydrating Gradual Tan evenly in circular motions 
Step 3: Be careful to blend product well on elbows & knees, ankles & feet, as product can stick to these areas.  
Step 4: Wash hands thoroughly. Then use pea size product on back of hands & blend well — less is more 
Step 5: Let it dry 
Step 6: Build your glow by reapplying daily or every few days

How long do I leave the tan mousse on?

Minimum 1 hour for a light glow. Leave longer for darker results - 2 hours for medium, 4+ hours for dark, 6+ hours for ultra dark.

Do I need to shower straight after?

Yes, rinse quickly in lukewarm water once your development time is up, then pat dry - don't rub. Your colour will keep deepening over the next few hours.

Will it stain my hands or clothes?

No, just make sure you use a mitt and don't apply with bare hands. Use minimal product on elbows, knees, ankles and knuckles, and buff any leftover product into hands and feet for a natural finish.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, it's formulated with our Triple Hydrating Complex - Glycerine, Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera and Aquaxyl - plus a 100% natural fragrance, making it gentle on sensitive skin.

How long will my tan last?

Around 5-7 days with the right care. Exfoliate beforehand, moisturise daily, and avoid really hot showers or heavy exfoliation once developed. Top up with our Gradual Tan 3-4 days later to keep glowing longer.

Can I use it on my face?

We'd recommend our Face Tan Mist instead which is formulated with a fine, buildable mist and is much gentler for delicate facial skin.

How do I apply the tan mousse?

Exfoliate and moisturise dry areas first. Then shake well and apply to clean, dry skin using our Ultra Soft Tanning Mitt in long, sweeping circular motions. Go easy on elbows, knees, ankles and knuckles, buffing any leftover product into your hands and feet.

How long does one application last? 

Our Ultra Fine Face Tan Mist is a buildable colour so you can use it as little or as much as you desire based on your skin type. Usually we recommend reapplication every 2-4 days to maintain your glow! 

Do you need to rub in the tan after application? 

Our Ultra Fine Face Tan Mist has an ultra fine spray so you don’t need to rub it in after application. The colour will take 6-8 hours to fully develop. 

Does this tanning mist contain any skincare benefits?

Yes, our formula is over 95% naturally derived with ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Green Tea & Aloe Vera. It is also triple hydrating for a beautiful hydrated glow.

How far from my face should I hold the bottle when misting?

Ideally you want to apply the mist 15cm away from your skin. It’s recommend to spray in a up to down motion, and work your way across your face, neck and décolletage. Don’t inhale and avoid contact with eyes and mouth. 

Can I use my normal skincare routine?

For best results we recommend applying at night after your moisturiser. Our Ultra Fine Face Tan Mist should be your last step to your skincare routine. Make sure not to use retinols or actives on your skin as it will strip the colour.

How long does one application last? 

Our Triple Hydrating Gradual Tan is buildable, allowing you to customise your glow. Apply as often as needed to reach your desired depth of colour — we recommend every 2–3 days to maintain radiant, glowing skin.

Will the Gradual Tan stick to dry areas?

Our Triple Hydrating Gradual Tan applies just like a moisturiser, but dry skin can absorb more product and develop a deeper colour. To avoid uneven results, we recommend exfoliating before application and avoiding dry patches. Take extra care around knees and elbows—lightly glide the product over these areas to ensure a natural, even finish.

Should I apply it to my hands?

Yes — but with care! After applying your tan, wash your hands thoroughly, especially between the fingers. Then, apply a pea-sized amount of product to the back of one hand and rub the backs of your hands together. Be sure to bend your fingers while doing this so the product blends evenly into the creases for a seamless finish.

When should I apply the Triple Hydrating Gradual Tan?

You can apply it anytime, but for best results, we recommend using it after your shower—just like your regular moisturiser. For an even smoother finish, try ending your shower with lukewarm to cool water to help close your pores before application
