Okay, so the prevailing beauty trend of 2024 is the no-make up look. Think glowy-dewy skin, with light bronzer or blush, manicured brows, a hint of mascara and a touch of lip tint or clear gloss. This is probably what people mean when they say they love a girl that wears no make-up, or that they prefer the natural look. So whilst there are several steps you can undertake to get this natural no-make up look, there is a little bit of an art to achieving a nice base without using too many products.

I have a little secret to share. If you prefer a bit more of a tanned complexion but you don’t want to use foundation or even BB cream to achieve this look, you can use Goldee Bee. Not only can it be incorporated with ease into your pre-existing skincare regime, but the ingredients will actually assist you in maintaining healthy and clear skin. Goldee Bee’s Ultra Fine Tanning mist features Aloe Vera, green tea and Hyaluronic Acid, ingredients that will even benefit those with sensitive skin. If you’re well versed in your skincare ingredients, you know that Hyaluronic Acid assists in holding hydration within your skin by drawing in and retaining water content. And that’s what is going to make you feel confident to showcase a more minimal make up look, amazingly hydrated skin.

By applying the Goldee Bee ultra-fine face tanning mist at night, you give it some time to develop into a natural and even colour overnight, so that in the morning you can apply a dewy moisturiser to hydrate the skin and give it even more of a glowy appearance. If you would like to, you can add a tiny bit of concealer if you have anything you wish to make disappear, and you will have the perfect base for a no-make up look. It’s an effortless look, so add whatever you think brings out your features. Sometimes I’ll add a bit of my cream blush to my eyes instead of eyeshadow, or I’ll add some faux freckles over my nose for a cute summer look.

I have another secret to share. The secret to the no-make up look is actually being confident in your own skin and learning to love your own beautiful features. Sometimes we can be so critical of our appearances, and I know that when it came to scaling back the make-up to try this new style of natural look, I was a little nervous. Would my skin be good enough, would I struggle with my usually very fair skin, would it make my least favourite features too prominent? So at first, I was a little hesitant to try, but now I’m preferring the no-make up look for daily wear, and saving my full glam moments just for nights out with my girls, first dates and 30th birthday parties. I’ve finally come to love myself in my natural era, and I hope that you do too.
